Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fausto Gervaso got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Gogo Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Gervaso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Narcis Lupașcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Omar Aztore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 14 minutes on the clock, Benigno Luke commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Laboulaye's Benigno Luke got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Adolfo Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedernal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Baldovino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Gogo Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedernal FC's Omar Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Cedro in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Cedro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pedernal FC's Omar Aztore. Omar Aztore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulises Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes, Isaias Garaile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laboulaye and the Pedernal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Laboulaye got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Garaile. Baldomiro Cedro struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Omar Aztore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laboulaye. Laboulaye's Ulises Baldovino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Baumar in the 37th minute of play. Baldomiro Cedro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Omar Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Pedernal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Cedro came free, but Omar Aztore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alejo Baumar made the kick off in the second half. Ulises Baldovino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Baumar in the 51st minute of the match. When Feliciano Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedernal FC's protests and gave Feliciano Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Pedernal FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Fliz. With an all-out effort, Pedernal FC's Ulises Baldovino threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximino Elivareo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Baldomiro Cedro came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Laboulaye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Cedro couldn't finish the play. Feliciano Fliz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ulises Baldovino firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Pedernal FC's zone, Baldomiro Cedro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Aztore came out of the goal and Baldomiro Cedro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Laboulaye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Asur to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes, Alejo Baumar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedernal FC and the Laboulaye players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pedernal FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alejo Baumar hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Baldomiro Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Elivareo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes Pedernal FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Elivareo. After 86 played minutes, Pedernal FC's Adolfo Abaurre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ulises Baldovino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pedernal FC reached it. The supporters of Pedernal FC booed when Laboulaye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laboulaye's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
