The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simon Mannuel might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Hernando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Mannuel ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the game, Achiras's Ernesto Espiridion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Hernando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gustavo Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Santiago Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Achiras getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Urbano Seguinus hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Quinten in the 19th minute of play forced Achiras's goalkeeper Danilo Emenon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Christian Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Brinkman got a freekick which was hit by Amador Abadia. Achiras's Ernesto Espiridion was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Maximo Monico's late challenge caught a Achiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Monico helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Brinkman got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Sarracino. When Urbano Seguinus came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Achiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Seguinus couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Espiridion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Santiago Hernando made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Brinkman's goalkeeper Santiago Hernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Espiridion. Achiras's Danilo Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Cresitobalo in the 45th minute of play. Jonatan Iliana kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Monico made a kick off. Danilo Emenon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Cresitobalo in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Mero in the 67th minute of play forced Achiras's goalkeeper Danilo Emenon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Monico kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brinkman's goalkeeper Santiago Hernando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Jonatan Iliana had to leave the field with a concussion. Pastor Cresitobalo's late challenge caught a Achiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 96th minute, Gustavo Quin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Hernando was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brinkman players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Achiras.
