In the 4th match minute, Manantiales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. Gogo Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Francisco Omero made a huge save. Inocencio Gaueko came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Manantiales's Jesus Leizarraga. But to his dismay, Jesus Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Godfredo Lidon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inocencio Gaueko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Manantiales booed when Pilar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pilar AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Florentino Abad hit a great ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Manantiales's goalkeeper Francisco Omero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Omero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Guillermo Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Salomon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Omero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Manantiales's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Abad came free, but Francisco Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Leizarraga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Manantiales's Roque Alfaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inocencio Gaueko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manantiales reached it. The supporters of Pilar AFC booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Gizon charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Gizon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saturnino Gizon hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Abad in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Omero saved Manantiales from getting behind. After 74th play minutes Florentino Abad shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Francisco Omero and just under the crossbar into goal. Godfredo Lidon struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Francisco Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilar AFC. Francisco Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manantiales players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pilar AFC.
