Saturnino Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Santos Soin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godofredo Poz having to make a save. If Angelino Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Santos Soin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sucre's Godofredo Poz. Godofredo Poz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 minutes of play, Sucre's Eustaquio Phelipe made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Berdaitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Olentzaro in the 26th minute of play forced Sucre's goalkeeper Godofredo Poz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Luciano Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Berdaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Sucre's Luciano Fagondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Berdaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Eustaquio Phelipe came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sucre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Phelipe couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, Vaqueros AFC's Angelino Salvatore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godofredo Poz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Gelmiro made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Marco Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godofredo Poz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Sucre fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Sucre's Wilfredo Gelmiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Juan Oton's late challenge caught a Vaqueros AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Oton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Juan Oton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vaqueros AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Romulo Ortzi hit a great ball. Faustino Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Phelipe in the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Wilfredo Gelmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sucre's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Gelmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Berdaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Berdaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Phelipe went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute Santos Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaqueros AFC's Faustino Berdaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Fagondo in the 96th minute of play. Sucre walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
