Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Florencio Urritz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Lagunita AFC's Mónico Taibo got control of the ball when Ruperto Delfino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Chicão da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacinto De Pablo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cipriano Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cauchicol's zone, Ruben Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto De Pablo came out of the goal and Ruben Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Jimeno Lopez had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Lagunita AFC made a substitution. Ricardo Sayveon replaced Jimeno Lopez. 24 minutes into the match, Lagunita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Delfino came free, but Mónico Taibo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mónico Taibo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Urritz in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Benjamin Diegotxe made a precise shot to the right of Mónico Taibo. Lagunita AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ruben Abeitia charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Abeitia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mónico Taibo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Benjamin Diegotxe sent off a good shot on target. Chicão da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Mónico Taibo managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Cauchicol's Benjamin Diegotxe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacinto De Pablo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão da Fonseca in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Chicão da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagunita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lagunita AFC's Cipriano Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chicão da Fonseca to make the kick off. Benjamin Diegotxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mónico Taibo having to interfere. Chicão da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Cugat might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto De Pablo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leon Cugat ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Delfino in the 63rd minute of play forced Lagunita AFC's goalkeeper Mónico Taibo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Cauchicol. Celso Dalmai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mónico Taibo. 2-1. The supporters of Lagunita AFC booed when Cauchicol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Pelayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Ricardo Sayveon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagunita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Sayveon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Chicão da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Acun Çelikyay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Ruperto Delfino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mónico Taibo. Lagunita AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Delfino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
