Chibariyo's Arsenio Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Behe in the 5th minute of play. Cleto Naike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Feliciano Chorache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Curacó booed when Chibariyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Firme in the 17th minute of play forced Chibariyo's goalkeeper Arsenio Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
