Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guaberto Oriol took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Oriol got free with Mateo Nesor in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateo Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Gai in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Maximiliano Kepa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Kepa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Luis Ospin in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chelco FC's Leonides Oihenarte. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 24th minute, but Mateo Nesor got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Medellín FC hanging dry this time. After a rather tough play, Medellín FC's Godfredo Katia got a free kick in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Rosalio during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Chelco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Rosalio to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Sobrado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Gaizkine having to interfere. Chelco FC's Florencio Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhard Schlünz in the 36th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Sobrado made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Inocencio Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Maurin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Eberhard Schlünz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chelco FC's Florencio Gaizkine didn't even have to move. Medellín FC's Jeremias Sobrado got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Eberhard Schlünz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Medellín FC's Esteve Gai got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florencio Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute of the match, Eberhard Schlünz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florencio Gaizkine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eberhard Schlünz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Florencio Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Eliseo Reyes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Medellín FC's Mateo Nesor. Mateo Nesor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremias Sobrado struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Florencio Gaizkine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medellín FC. Medellín FC's Jeremias Sobrado got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Jeremias Sobrado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Chelco FC's Florencio Gaizkine got control of the ball when Jeremias Sobrado tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Medellín FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chelco FC.
