If Baldomiro Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. Estudiantes de La Plata's Camilo Rocio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 13 minutes into the match, Cazador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Rocio came free, but Tadeo Silviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Oscar Fagildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Petrigai. After 17 minutes, Ruperto Florian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cazador FC and the Estudiantes de La Plata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruperto Florian kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Camilo Rocio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeo Silviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Cazador FC defense, Baldomiro Etxahun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeo Silviano. The Cazador FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Silviano should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Mauricio Pes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes de La Plata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cazador FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de La Plata's Mauricio Pes got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Cazador FC defense, Baldomiro Etxahun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeo Silviano. The Cazador FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Silviano should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute Baldomiro Etxahun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Silviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Etxahun in the 37th minute of play. Delmiro Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tadeo Silviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Beturian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Estudiantes de La Plata's Baldomiro Etxahun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Etxahun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Silviano was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Baldomiro Etxahun sped through Cazador FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeo Silviano. Baldomiro Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Candido Ostargi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Zacarias Bixintxo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Estudiantes de La Plata's Oscar Fagildo didn't even have to move. In the 83rd minute, Baldomiro Etxahun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Baldomiro Etxahun struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Tadeo Silviano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de La Plata. 91 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's Mauricio Pes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeo Silviano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tadeo Silviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Sotil came free, but Oscar Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Estudiantes de La Plata left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cazador FC.
