The supporters of BAHIA FUTBOL booed when Mixto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, BAHIA FUTBOL's goalkeeper Marcos Raymon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Luix. Gervasio Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marcos Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Bruno Lucero could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Marcos Raymon however easily saved by the left post. Gervasio Ramirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Raymon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Bruno Lucero struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Marcos Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mixto.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Ramirez to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Aristides Erroman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BAHIA FUTBOL and the Mixto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aristides Erroman hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 54 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mixto's Samuel Luix fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gervasio Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gervasio Ramirez came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mixto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Ramirez couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Leoiar hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Efrain Solustiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Formerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gervasio Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Lino Ruisko in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BAHIA FUTBOL's Aristides Erroman. Marcos Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Ramirez in the 88th minute of play. If Bruno Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Ariel Ebardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Itzaina was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mixto were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
