Candido Guter hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Romeo Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Muc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paolo Diaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Romeo Muc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Arias having to interfere. Eduardo Arias came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacanas's Paolo Diaz. But to his dismay, Paolo Diaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eduardo Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
