Lisandro Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tejs Westrup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Serafin Shantala sped through Sparta FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tejs Westrup. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo De Almagro's zone, Filip Militaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Gaizkine came out of the goal and Filip Militaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Nafarroa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tejs Westrup firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Sparta FC booed when San Lorenzo De Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Serafin Shantala had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 17 minutes, Ulises Luzaide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sparta FC and the San Lorenzo De Almagro players grew even worse after the yellow card. 鲁桑诚 shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Octavio Gaizkine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Militaru in the 24th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo De Almagro's Lisandro Nafarroa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tejs Westrup. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. In the 30th minute, Laureano Rexino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lisandro Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tejs Westrup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Gotzon hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Anier Hermon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tejs Westrup. Sparta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cayetano Kusko scored 3-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tejs Westrup, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Rexino in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Gaizkine saved San Lorenzo De Almagro from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd match minute, San Lorenzo De Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Domeka to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of San Lorenzo De Almagro booed when Sparta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Gaizkine didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sparta FC's Laureano Rexino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Cayetano Kusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo De Almagro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Kusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Raul Aguilera notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Sparta FC's Tejs Westrup. Tejs Westrup was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute Raul Aguilera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tejs Westrup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Raul Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo De Almagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Aguilera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tejs Westrup breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to San Lorenzo De Almagro getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Virgilio Laurendi hit a great ball. San Lorenzo De Almagro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sparta FC for a fine match.
