An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Pietro in the 4th minute of play forced Barranca FC's goalkeeper Celso Florin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Isidro Jerardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Florin. Barranca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Jerardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristo Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Fernando Pietro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Isotopos Burquerque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gavino Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gavino Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Dino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Edelmiro Piearres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Isotopos Burquerque defense, Lorenzo Dino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Piearres. The Isotopos Burquerque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Piearres should have stopped the shot. Isotopos Burquerque's Gavino Maties got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidro Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Pietro scored 2-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Florin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Fernando Pietro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Matro's late challenge caught a Barranca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Celso Florin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

If Gavino Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Cristo Restu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Isotopos Burquerque booed when Barranca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Etxepare didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Guillermo Abadie in the 58th minute really tested Celso Florin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Celso Florin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Jerardo in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Gavino Maties got a very nice opportunity to score, but Celso Florin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Restu got free with Celso Florin in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidro Jerardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Celso Florin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 78th minute Isotopos Burquerque were awarded a corner. Cosme Paul went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Barranca FC's Celso Florin got control of the ball when Isidro Jerardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Pietro struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Celso Florin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isotopos Burquerque. Fernando Pietro charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Pietro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Isotopos Burquerque getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fernando Pietro hit a great ball.
