After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Luis Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantil Porteño's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Crescencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Jordy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Estudiantil Porteño's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Cristofari came free, but Everardo Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 汪亦昆 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Leopoldo Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Lluques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Vincente went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luis Crescencio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Jordy came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Crescencio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Lobo in the 27th minute of play forced Estudiantil Porteño's goalkeeper Everardo Lluques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Bakar in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Manuel Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trompul AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Lobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Estudiantil Porteño getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Roque Chumo hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Jonas Abadia made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Lluques. Estudiantil Porteño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felice Cristofari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Everardo Lluques was a little too slow when Pedro Vincente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-3. Estudiantil Porteño's Luis Crescencio got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Estudiantil Porteño got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Bakar. In the 90th minute, Estudiantil Porteño's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felice Cristofari fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Conrao got free with Everardo Lluques in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Estudiantil Porteño's goalkeeper Everardo Lluques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felice Cristofari. Estudiantil Porteño's Celestino Bakar got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
