The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafin Garaile came out of the goal and Leon Garaile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Garaile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Madureira in the 6th minute of the match. Glauco Madureira might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Garaile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glauco Madureira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Glauco Madureira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafin Garaile was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, los de honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Arnalt came free, but Natalio Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Paolo Chale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Garaile. LOS GATOS DEL OESTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Chale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Niceto Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Garaile having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Leon Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Glauco Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Serafin Garaile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Chale struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Serafin Garaile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los de honduras. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glauco Madureira made a kick off. Natalio Virila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Bembe went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After having played for 56 minutes, Glauco Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. los de honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glauco Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Arnalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Natalio Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, LOS GATOS DEL OESTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th match minute Leandro Chuse ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Serafin Garaile. 1-5. A sloppy throw-in by Cirilo Efraim in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by los de honduras's Leon Garaile. Serafin Garaile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. los de honduras's Leon Garaile got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LOS GATOS DEL OESTE's Victorino Taurino got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to los de honduras getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Leon Garaile hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Cirilo Efraim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Virila skillfully saved the ball. los de honduras's Natalio Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Taurino in the 78th minute of play. Glauco Madureiras short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Serafin Garaile to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tobias Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Edgard Bembe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Natalio Virila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS GATOS DEL OESTE's goalkeeper Serafin Garaile, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. los de honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
