The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, La Banda del Millo's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Fernendo came free, but Henry Quesada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Loramendi made a great header on CoviChaco's corner, it was just that La Banda del Millo's Henry Quesada managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimosthenis Karaplis in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, CoviChaco's Gaston Fernendo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henry Quesada. Henry Quesada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behram Sabi during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Behram Sabi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes CoviChaco got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Bartoleme. After a defensive mix-up in CoviChaco's zone, Geronimo Cai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Faro came out of the goal and Geronimo Cai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Banda del Millo's Henry Quesada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Fernendo in the 27th minute of play. After 27 played minutes La Banda del Millo got a freekick which was hit by Behram Sabi. When La Banda del Millo's Dimosthenis Karaplis in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CoviChaco's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Dimosthenis Karaplis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CoviChaco's Julio Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When La Banda del Millo's Dimosthenis Karaplis in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CoviChaco's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, La Banda del Millo's goalkeeper Henry Quesada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Peru. La Banda del Millo's Henry Quesada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Pancho in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute of the match Herminio Gorri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Faro skillfully saved the ball. Henry Quesada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Pancho in the 57th minute of the match. Julio Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimosthenis Karaplis in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes La Banda del Millo got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Cai. In the 61st minute Domingo Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Quesada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Domingo Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CoviChaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Peru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, La Banda del Millo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behram Sabi to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Lucas Fertus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, CoviChaco's Domingo Peru got a free kick in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimosthenis Karaplis in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Dimosthenis Karaplis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Faro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 82 minutes in the game, Dimosthenis Karaplis dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Many of La Banda del Millo's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. La Banda del Millo may have spent more time on the ball, but CoviChaco were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
