In the 10th minute, Leonides Amor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilmes AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Splinter FC booed when Quilmes AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Guipuzkoa was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Ruperto Kimetz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ruperto Kimetz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Augusto Guipuzkoa made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Leonides Amor sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Marcelo Frasco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Quilmes AC's Epifanio Reynardo. Epifanio Reynardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 27 minutes of play, Quilmes AC's Genaro Lehoi made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Guipuzkoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quilmes AC's German Florin suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 30 minutes into the game, Teodoro Todor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Splinter FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes AC the free kick. A collision led to Splinter FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Teodoro Todor hit a great ball. Augusto Guipuzkoa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Genaro Lehoi sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute Marcelo Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Reynardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Todor to make the kick off. Splinter FC's Augusto Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Lehoi in the 72nd minute of play. Epifanio Reynardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Todor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 88th playminute. Marcelo Frasco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Splinter FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcelo Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Epifanio Reynardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Splinter FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Quilmes AC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
