River Plate's 冯峰默 got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, C. A. River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 高勇潮 to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes C. A. River Plate got a freekick which was hit by 冯峰默. The crowd rose to their feet as Ariel Florin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcial Montrelle. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. The supporters of C. A. River Plate booed when Olaen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duardo Sobera took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Montrelle. Marcial Montrelle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Marcial Montrelle made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ariel Florin sent off a good shot on target. Olaen FC's Marcial Montrelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 冯峰默 in the 32nd minute of play. Marcial Montrelle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Urbano Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Clodoveo Iban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 冯峰默 to strike the kick off in the second half. Jose Gumaro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Marcial Montrelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Florin in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Olaen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Telo to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th match minute, C. A. River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Firme to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by 冯峰默 in the 84th minute of play forced Olaen FC's goalkeeper Marcial Montrelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Florin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Montrelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 冯峰默, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Clodoveo Iban made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Urbano Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Olaen FC defense, Duardo Sobera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Montrelle. The Olaen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Montrelle should have stopped the shot. 98 minutes into the match, Olaen FC's goal looked a bit too open when 冯峰默 came free, but Marcial Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
