If Fulgencio Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraná FC's Luisito Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Mancio in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Silverio Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Fulgencio Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Mancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Luisito Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Kinsen to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Talleres FC got a corner. Paraná FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horacio Markel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Augusto Nuxila charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Nuxila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Paraná FC's Augusto Nuxila got a free kick in the 54th minute. Horacio Markel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Luisito Acevedo made a huge save. Lucio Mancio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Kinsen in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Acevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucio Mancio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Luisito Acevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres FC. In the 66th minute, Fulgencio Kinsen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lucio Mancio might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Acevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucio Mancio ran back to his position shaking his head. If Lucio Mancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Lucio Mancio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Luisito Acevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute Fulgencio Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Talleres FC booed when Paraná FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Mancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Fulgencio Kinsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Kinsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucio Mancio in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisito Acevedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Talleres FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
