The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Tono got free with Modesto Reyes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tomy F.C. booed when Pucará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Soter having to interfere. Tomy F.C.'s Modesto Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Shantala in the 9th minute of play. When Jonathan Jurdan fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tomy F.C.'s protests and gave Jonathan Jurdan a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Tomy F.C.'s Modesto Reyes got control of the ball when Teo Tono tried to sneak it across the goal line. Modesto Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Shantala in the 16th minute of the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Nemesio Shantala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tomy F.C.'s Modesto Reyes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Shantala struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Modesto Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pucará FC. Damaso Dalmai, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Genaro Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Soter having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Tomy F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Shantala came free, but Modesto Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Tomy F.C.'s goalkeeper Modesto Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Tono.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Macerio made a kick off. Carlos Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Nemesio Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Pucará FC's Nemesio Shantala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Reyes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Tomy F.C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Patxi Abbott hit a great ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Teo Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pucará FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Tono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Modesto Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pucará FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Macerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pucará FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Mero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nemesio Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pucará FC fully deserved thier win.
