With a little luck, Viscachani's Anacleto Quinton got control of the ball when Fulgencio Aguilera tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Loramendi in the 9th minute of play forced Club Atletico Alumni's goalkeeper Sixto Urbez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Urbez came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Viscachani's Rafael Loramendi. But to his dismay, Rafael Loramendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Club Atletico Alumni's Fulgencio Aguilera in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Viscachani's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Fulgencio Aguilera in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 0-2 became the score in the 25th minute when Rafael Loramendi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sixto Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Oliviero, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Prospero Seme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Club Atletico Alumni booed when Viscachani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Maurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Diego Vedillo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Club Atletico Alumni's Abel Ciceron was substituted for Diego Vedillo. After 47 played minutes Viscachani got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Oliviero. After the first half Viscachani were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sebastian Txartiko hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Viscachani's Cecilio Emesto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Anacleto Quinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Club Atletico Alumni's Marcelino Pitin was substituted for Fulgencio Aguilera. When Juan Mambru came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Club Atletico Alumni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Mambru couldn't finish the play. Anacleto Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Pitin in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Viscachani had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
