The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Beti got free with Fabio Quintana in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Llisca getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Armando Marko hit a great ball. Llisca's Santo Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Kemen in the 20th minute of play. If Herminio Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Eyague hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Herminio Miliano struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Santo Mon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPORTIVO ISLA VERDE. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Geleberto made a kick off. Santo Mon was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Roque Loi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roque Loi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 69th minute, SPORTIVO ISLA VERDE's Leon Stephen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leon Stephen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SPORTIVO ISLA VERDE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leon Stephen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 69th minute, one of SPORTIVO ISLA VERDE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SPORTIVO ISLA VERDE. Octavio Geleberto succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in SPORTIVO ISLA VERDE's zone, Narciso Beti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Quintana came out of the goal and Narciso Beti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Geleberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Geleberto in the 84th minute of play. Octavio Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Quintana having to interfere. Herminio Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Santo Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Herminio Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Llisca support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
