The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Uzuri got free with Ernesto Iraitz in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A.Cnel Suarez's Ernesto Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Uzuri in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO's goalkeeper Isidoro Cordarius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Bernabe Nesor made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Cordarius. LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, C.A.Cnel Suarez's Ernesto Iraitz got control of the ball when Ulises Uzuri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cleto Irrintzi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Lino Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. C.A.Cnel Suarez's Ernesto Iraitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Cnel Suarez from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Odin Lindgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Iraitz, 1-1. Ulises Uzuri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Iraitz having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bernabe Nesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Cnel Suarez's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Nesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Cordarius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cleto Irrintzi came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the C.A.Cnel Suarez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Irrintzi couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Odin Lindgren to make the kick off. Ernesto Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Ulises Uzuri notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of C.A.Cnel Suarez's Ernesto Iraitz. Ernesto Iraitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the game, LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO's Odin Lindgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Iraitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 80 minutes into the game, Israel Ricart recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isidoro Cordarius. Israel Ricart showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO made a substitution. Marcelino Dalmu replaced Camilo Elixio. After a rather tough play, LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO's Ulises Uzuri got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odin Lindgren in the 91st minute of play forced C.A.Cnel Suarez's goalkeeper Ernesto Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of C.A.Cnel Suarez booed when LA BANDA DEL INGENIERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odin Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A.Cnel Suarez's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
