After 28 minutes, Desiderio Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arroyito F.C and the Derqui FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Arroyito F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Lucian to maneuver through the defense. When Desiderio Lartaun came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Derqui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Lartaun couldn't finish the play. After having played for 38 minutes, Blanco Soudre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blanco Soudre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Arroyito F.C's Enzo Maju got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Blanco Soudre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blanco Soudre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Desiderio Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arroyito F.C booed when Derqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute of the match Teodoro Onofre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Ramone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 66th minute Wilfredo Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Wilfredo Orlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derqui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Orlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Arroyito F.C getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Juan María Tous hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Desiderio Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Lartaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Derqui FC's Natalio Laurin got a free kick in the 87th minute. Esteban Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Lartaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blanco Soudre got free with Jorge Ramone in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
