Aloísio Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ernesto Quintana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Quintana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Ballester FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Estudiantes de La Plata were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aloísio Pontes made a kick off. 姚荣峰 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Quintana having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Quintana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ricardo Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Illan having to interfere. Danilo Palban hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ballester FC's Ernesto Quintana got control of the ball when 姚荣峰 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute Christian Eliu suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Nemesio Servando was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Estudiantes de La Plata's Fabio Teofilio was substituted for Christian Eliu. After a rather tough play, Ballester FC's Nemesio Servando got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Octavio Leocadio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Quintana skillfully saved the ball. 姚荣峰 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ernesto Quintana made a huge save. Ballester FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aloísio Pontes 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Eustaquio Criston struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ernesto Quintana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de La Plata. Ballester FC's Ernesto Quintana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Ballester FC from getting a goal against them. Candido Illan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Benino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Palban came free, but Candido Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 姚荣峰 in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Estudiantes de La Plata's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
