Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Silvano Txema got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Llorenc in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Fagondo saved Banfield from getting behind. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alejo Ruy sped through La Caldera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciriaco Araoz. Elpidio Fagondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Llorenc's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Leonardo Llorenc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banfield's Elpidio Fagondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvano Txema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Araoz made a huge save. Pascual Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Everardo Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Caldera's Ciriaco Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Ruy in the 30th minute of play. Alejo Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Alejo Ruy sped through La Caldera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciriaco Araoz. In the 38th minute Geronimo Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Llorenc took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Fagondo. Elpidio Fagondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Elpidio Fagondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Txema's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Araoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, Banfield's Elpidio Fagondo got control of the ball when Leonardo Llorenc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Llorenc's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Elpidio Fagondo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Geronimo Mon charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Mon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, La Caldera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Mon to maneuver through the defense. When Banfield's Silvano Txema in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the last second Elpidio Fagondo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leonardo Llorenc in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 82nd match minute, Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Txema to maneuver through the defense.
