Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Toninho Ferraz made the kick off and thus started the match. After 6 played minutes Chajarí got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Mendebal. Sergio Frederik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Llorenc in the 9th minute of play. Honorato Benitez charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Benitez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Honorato Benitez hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Leonardo Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Araoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Remir in the 15th minute of play. Ruperto Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ciriaco Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ciriaco Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Frederik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Polo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Toninho Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Araoz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ruperto Remir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciriaco Araoz came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruperto Remir slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Llorenc was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of La Caldera booed when Chajarí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Chiuzbaian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chajarí's zone, Geronimo Mon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Frederik came out of the goal and Geronimo Mon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute Hugo Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ruperto Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chajarí's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Remir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Araoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Ferraz in the 65th minute of play forced La Caldera's goalkeeper Ciriaco Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Caldera's Ciro Xabier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chajarí. If Ruperto Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toninho Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Frederik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Polo in the 87th minute. Leonardo Llorenc kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. La Caldera's Ciriaco Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Ferraz in the 91st minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chajarí could leave the field as winners, despite La Caldera having more of the ball for most of the match.
