An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Ubelteso in the 3rd minute of play forced SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C.'s goalkeeper Lázaro Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ulises Rayman came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Club Chacabuco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Rayman couldn't finish the play. Paolo Bero's late challenge caught a SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Bero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Paolo Bero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C.'s Laurens Kregel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd match minute, SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Palben to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Club Chacabuco's goal looked a bit too open when Laurens Kregel came free, but Dionisio Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ulises Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Ubelteso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Herena was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurens Kregel was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Ubelteso in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Herena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Palben hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Moises Ostargi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lázaro Herena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Ubelteso's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 81st match minute, Club Chacabuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Laurens Kregel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dionisio Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Club Chacabuco's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club Chacabuco may have spent more time on the ball, but SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
