The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Perpinya during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonides Perpinya hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celedonio Vincent in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Harkaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celedonio Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Baltasar Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Celedonio Vincent notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sunchal's Baltasar Harkaitz. Baltasar Harkaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celedonio Vincent's late challenge caught a Sunchal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Vincent helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sunchal booed when Rumiyaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Harkaitz having to interfere. Baltasar Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Perpinya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Vincent took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Harkaitz. Baltasar Harkaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Celedonio Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Baltasar Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Celedonio Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumiyaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Vincent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Harkaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, Sunchal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Illan to maneuver through the defense. If Celedonio Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Danilo Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48thth minute of the game Leonides Perpinya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sunchal's Baltasar Harkaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Baltasar Harkaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Sanson in the 53rd minute of play. Leonides Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Sunchal got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Cordaryal. Leonides Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Vincents short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Baltasar Harkaitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Celedonio Vincent blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Harkaitz having to make a save. If Celedonio Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rumiyaco FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Rodrigo Marz hit a great ball. Leonides Perpinya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Baltasar Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Vinicio Azeari made a precise shot to the right of Dalmacio Tulio. Rumiyaco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After having played for 76 minutes, Leonides Perpinya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumiyaco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Perpinya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmacio Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Henric in the 80th minute of play. Sunchal's Baltasar Harkaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Sunchal from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Rumiyaco FC's Leonides Perpinya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celedonio Vincent in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Harkaitz saved Sunchal from getting behind. Rumiyaco FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
