Guter Cabalar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jesus Blasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Serafo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Marianito FC's Zacarias Erramun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guter Cabalar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Izotz to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Gaueko got free with Guter Cabalar in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Marianito FC's Teo Etxekopar got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Rene Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Bitxintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Guter Cabalar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Esquipula charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Esquipula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filomeno Esquipula hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Oxarra got free with Guter Cabalar in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Chus hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Guter Cabalar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Edgard Oxarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Guter Cabalar made a huge save. Jesus Blasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Izotz in the 91st minute of the match. The Marianito FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marianito FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
