Famatanca FC's Benedicto Estefan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valentin Baraquiel's late challenge caught a Tasquín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Baraquiel helped the player get up and apologised. Stephane Melliger made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Rodolfo Serapio sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Tome struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Benedicto Estefan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasquín. Ovidio Bilintx's late challenge caught a Famatanca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Bilintx helped the player get up and apologised. Stephane Melliger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Ponc, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Serapio got free with Stephane Melliger in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benedicto Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Luzea in the 28th minute of the match. Benedicto Estefan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Luzea's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Santos Ponc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephane Melliger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Famatanca FC booed when Tasquín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Locaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Eskuin's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Stephane Melliger - 1-1 was put on the score board in the 33rd minute. Tasquín were furious when Örjan Fransson was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tasquín! When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Famatanca FC's Fausto Eskuin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stephane Melliger. Benedicto Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Tome in the 45th minute of play. Sebastian Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Estefan having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Luzea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tasquín's Stephane Melliger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Baraquiel in the 53rd minute of play. Rodolfo Serapio struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Stephane Melliger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Famatanca FC. In the 59th minute, Albino Luzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedicto Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Luzea in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Famatanca FC's Rodolfo Serapio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephane Melliger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 66 minutes into the match, Tasquín's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Umea came free, but Stephane Melliger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Sebastian Tome notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Famatanca FC's Benedicto Estefan. Benedicto Estefan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Jairo Umea in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tasquín's Alberto Erruki. Inocencio Locaio kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Albino Luzea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benedicto Estefan. That made the score 3-3 in the 81 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Sebastian Tome managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasquín's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Tome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Estefan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
