With a little luck, Talleres de Cordoba's Elpidio Elodio got control of the ball when Aristides Efraim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saverio Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Cordoba's zone, Aristides Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Elodio came out of the goal and Aristides Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Talleres de Cordoba's Marcelino Lain in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zapiola FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ruben Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Cresconio's late challenge caught a Talleres de Cordoba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Cresconio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Zapiola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Elodio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Efraim in the 25th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Jeremias Eate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zapiola FC's Ruben Berto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Ricardo Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapiola FC's goalkeeper Ruben Berto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristides Efraim scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Elodio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saverio Madaleno's late challenge caught a Zapiola FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Cresconio to make the kick off. Talleres de Cordoba's Elpidio Elodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Efraim in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Efraim in the 55th minute of play forced Talleres de Cordoba's goalkeeper Elpidio Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Ricardo Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Zapiola FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Cai. 67 minutes into the game, Ricardo Cresconio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Elpidio Elodio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Elpidio Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ricardo Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Franco hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Jeremias Eate reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruben Berto. The goal made the score 3-2. Marcelino Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Efraim in the 92nd minute of play. With his leg Ruben Berto managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Talleres de Cordoba's Marcelino Lain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Talleres de Cordoba players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zapiola FC.
