In the 46th minute Felix Maurino suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. La Guardia Imperial's Lorenzo Moise was substituted for Felix Maurino. Julio Rexino hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The La Guardia Imperial players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palermo were winning 0-1.
