Armando Beti might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Calvet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Beti ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes in the game, Geronimo Matia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Donato Calvet having to interfere. A collision led to Gaiman Futbol Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Armando Rencio hit a great ball. Gaiman Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Geronimo Matia scored to the left of an out of position Donato Calvet, making the score, 2-0. Armando Beti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Donato Calvet made a huge save. 30 minutes into the game, Armando Rencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaiman Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 9 de julio F.C. the free kick. After 30 played minutes Gaiman Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Armando Rencio. Geronimo Matia succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Armando Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Geronimo Matia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Calvet. That made the score 4-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 42nd minute Geronimo Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
