Raimundo Abar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. Baldomero Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alvaro Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Atletico Charly Viescas's Braulio Montxo in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Atletico Charly Viescas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Erasmo Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Alvaro Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Ondino in the 40th minute of play. Marcelino Heriberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braulio Montxo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rolando Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes Atletico Charly Viescas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Placido Barto who took care of the corner kick. Placido Barto made a great header on Borussia Dortmund's corner, it was just that Atletico Charly Viescas's Raimundo Abar managed to reach the ball for a save. Raimundo Abar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Tercero in the 67th minute of the match. When Borussia Dortmund's Rolando Tercero in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 85th minute, Borussia Dortmund's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Braulio Montxo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rolando Tercero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Abar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Atletico Charly Viescas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
