Jonas Tino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute Evelio Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in boca juniors's zone, Aureliano Gumaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Maura came out of the goal and Aureliano Gumaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Crescencio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Simon Kleine shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Tino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Americo Jayvier struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jonas Tino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for boca juniors. 30 minutes into the game, Gualterio Tomi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. boca juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOCA JUNIORS CABJ the free kick. A collision led to boca juniors getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gualterio Tomi hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, BOCA JUNIORS CABJ's Bernardo Crescencio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Israel Maura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BOCA JUNIORS CABJ reached it. Israel Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Orlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes BOCA JUNIORS CABJ got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Gumaro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Jayvier in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Tino saved BOCA JUNIORS CABJ from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Freddy Orlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOCA JUNIORS CABJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave boca juniors the free kick. Freddy Orlan hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The BOCA JUNIORS CABJ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. boca juniors were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Orlan to make the kick off. Conrado Arnau took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Maura. Israel Maura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 61 played minutes boca juniors got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Tomi. If Americo Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Freddy Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Kleine kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BOCA JUNIORS CABJ's goalkeeper Jonas Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 88 played minutes boca juniors got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Tomi. After 92 minutes, Narciso Nataniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOCA JUNIORS CABJ and the boca juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Nataniel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, boca juniors failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
