Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benicio Artaldo kicked off to start the match. Ambrosio Emesto kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes, Atlético La Plata's Uriel Luix shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cleto Chumo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético La Plata reached it. Elvio Eskuin was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Mauricio Maule capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Maule really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Atlético La Plata's Elvio Eskuin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético La Plata from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Canteras booed when Atlético La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Chumo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético La Plata's Benicio Artaldo. But to his dismay, Benicio Artaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 36th minute of the match Severiano Orlondon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elvio Eskuin skillfully saved the ball. If Mauricio Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético La Plata's Elvio Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Jurdan in the 39th minute of play. Elvio Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Jurdan to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Atlético La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Reyes to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Atlético La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Jurdan came free, but Elvio Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Eskuin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Jurdan's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Elvio Eskuin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Jurdan in the 60th minute of the match. Elvio Eskuin came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Canteras's Dario Jurdan. But to his dismay, Dario Jurdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Ambrosio Emesto fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canteras's protests and gave Ambrosio Emesto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Canteras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Emesto to maneuver through the defense. If Ildefonso Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Maule in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Canteras's Florencio Ellande got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Amado Reyes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Canteras's Cleto Chumo didn't even have to move. Elvio Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Maule in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Mauricio Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute Mauricio Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Canteras fully deserved thier win.
