Julio Su stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Gaspard's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Godofredo Gorka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mario Tonete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ciriaco Gaspard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tino FC's Julio Su was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciriaco Gaspard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Julio Su tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tino FC's Felipe Iruinea got a free kick in the 26th minute. Zodiako Star F.C.'s Albano Bermund got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Gaspard in the 30th minute of play forced Tino FC's goalkeeper Julio Su to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Zodiako Star F.C. booed when Tino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ciriaco Gaspard sped through Tino FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Su. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciriaco Gaspard to make the kick off. Albano Bermund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Su having to interfere. Tino FC's Julio Su proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Tino FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ciriaco Gaspard put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Su. Ciriaco Gaspard in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Su, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Godofredo Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute.
