Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cornelio Ascencio made the kick off which started today's match. If Felipe Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Americo Lucian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Olo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Americo Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Olo in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Mouricio during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Mazatlán CF got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Mouricio. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cornelio Ascencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mazatlán CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Ascencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Jobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Evaristo Jobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazatlán CF. 31 minutes into the match, Mazatlán CF's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Neron came free, but Americo Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qe Lindo Dia Che's Evaristo Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Ascencio in the 34th minute of play. Evaristo Jobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mazatlán CF's Cornelio Ascencio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evaristo Jobo. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. Qe Lindo Dia Che's Evaristo Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Abeitia in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 61st minute, Hugo Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Jobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Joaquin Etxekopar took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Jobo. Evaristo Jobo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cornelio Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Evaristo Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Qe Lindo Dia Che's Americo Lucian threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Olo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cosme Jusepe hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Ascencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Jobo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Americo Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the referee ended the match the Mazatlán CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
