Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pascual Soter started the match with the kick off. C. A. Velez Sarsfield's Fermin Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Resto in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Basualdo in the 8th minute of play forced ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's goalkeeper Serafin Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gervasio Milio fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's protests and gave Gervasio Milio a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Milio. In the 14th minute, Robustiano Neto made a precise shot to the right of Serafin Benino. ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fermin Ariando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Soter went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Prudencio Mendiko took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Benino. Serafin Benino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Basualdo in the 30th minute of play forced ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's goalkeeper Serafin Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Damaso Pasqual hit a great ball. Cirilo Basualdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Benino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Basualdo ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafin Benino was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Cirilo Basualdo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cirilo Basualdo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Basualdo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, C. A. Velez Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Soter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fermin Ariando made a huge save. Serafin Benino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Neto went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Basualdo in the 59th minute of play forced ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's goalkeeper Serafin Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Ariando having to interfere. Serafin Benino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Neto in the 78th minute of the match. Cirilo Basualdo took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Benino. Serafin Benino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 84th match minute, ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Moyano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas booed when C. A. Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Ariando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laffitte Garraz in the 88th minute. C. A. Velez Sarsfield walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
