Chiquito AFC's Salvador Ibon got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Salvador Ibon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Matador Cordobes's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Ibon came free, but Maximo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Sabino in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Matador Cordobes getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Florentino Urko hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Matador Cordobes's zone, Salvador Ibon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Azevedo came out of the goal and Salvador Ibon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Matador Cordobes defense, Paulino Sabino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Azevedo. The Matador Cordobes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Elias Celipe took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Azevedo. Maximo Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Chiquito AFC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Chiquito AFC's Paulino Sabino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maximo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Ibon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Sabino was the one to do the kick off. Maximo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Paulino Sabino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximo Azevedo, 0-5. Paulino Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Azevedo having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Paulino Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiquito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Sabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Ibon struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Maximo Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiquito AFC. Salvador Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Maximo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiquito AFC's Anacleto Deunoro was substituted for Ignacio Mikelats. Chiquito AFC's Gaspar Joey was substituted for Paulino Sabino. Chiquito AFC's Andres Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Urko in the 80th minute of play. 1-5 became the score in the 81st minute when Silvestre Berbiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Chiquito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Mikelats. Andres Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Berbiz in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Salvador Ibon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chiquito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Salvador Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chiquito AFC played a much better game than Matador Cordobes and deserved their victory. The Matador Cordobes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
