Ichigualasto's Amancio Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Sabino in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Paulino Sabino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Amancio Frederico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Ichigualasto's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Sabino came free, but Amancio Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Ichigualasto's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Ibon came free, but Amancio Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Frederico having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Cuartio to make the kick off. Jaime Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Andres Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Celipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ichigualasto getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jörgen Rolfsson hit a great ball. Andres Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Cuartio in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Jörgen Rolfsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Salvador Ibon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ichigualasto's Amancio Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Ichigualasto from getting a goal against them. Paulino Sabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Paulino Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 90th minute, Tobiasz Czempa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Gaspar Joey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ichigualasto manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Chiquito AFC to win.
