In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pehuajó FC's goalkeeper Anier Salomon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Pehuajó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Naldo came free, but Anier Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Salomon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Naldo went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Luisito Edwardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anier Salomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Rene Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Eneko in the 31st minute of play. Anier Salomon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Nabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisito Edwardo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Rene Urtsua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pehuajó FC. Froilan Eneko charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Eneko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Pehuajó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Eneko to maneuver through the defense. Pehuajó FC's Anier Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Naldo in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Eneko was the one to do the kick off. Fulgencio Bastia got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Teo Nabar. Rosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Naldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulgencio Bastia made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lisandro Tono. When Ladislao Naldo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Naldo couldn't finish the play.
