Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anibal Millan got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of GesellFUCHIBOL booed when River Plate MZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Urtungo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the River Plate MZA defense, Anibal Millan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Richie. The River Plate MZA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Richie should have stopped the shot. After having played for 11 minutes, Anibal Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GesellFUCHIBOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Millan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate MZA's zone, Alonzo Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Richie came out of the goal and Alonzo Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Richie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Millan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, River Plate MZA's Baldomero Weterio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Hermengildo Llorenc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Richie was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Hermengildo Llorenc managed to get in a good position for a shot. GesellFUCHIBOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Llorenc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Richie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Lander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baldomero Esquipula came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the River Plate MZA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Esquipula couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd match minute, River Plate MZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Lander to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Alonzo Modestio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Camilo Richie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Esquipula in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Dominguez saved GesellFUCHIBOL from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, River Plate MZA's goalkeeper Camilo Richie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Modestio. In the 57th minute, River Plate MZA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alonzo Modestio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With an all-out effort, GesellFUCHIBOL's Camilo Richie threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anibal Millan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Baldomero Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Abel Dominguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Baldomero Esquipula got free in front of the goal in the 63rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Abel Dominguez was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Modestio got free with Camilo Richie in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Silvestre Cordarius in the 75th minute really tested Camilo Richie's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 75th minute, Alonzo Modestio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of GesellFUCHIBOL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of River Plate MZA:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in GesellFUCHIBOL's zone, Baldomero Weterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Dominguez came out of the goal and Baldomero Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Alonzo Modestio made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Richie. River Plate MZA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. River Plate MZA's Camilo Richie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Millan in the 86th minute of play. Hermengildo Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Camilo Richie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 99 minutes into the match, River Plate MZA's goalkeeper Camilo Richie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Modestio. The GesellFUCHIBOL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
