Conrado Gagriel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Federico Lertxun made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, Conrado Gagriel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Federico Lertxun, 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Angelo Satordi in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Atlético River Plate's Victorino Herensuge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Medina in the 13th minute of play forced Cebollitas's goalkeeper Cirilo Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Gonzalo Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, 彭城钢 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Federico Lertxun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Dantae in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Gonzalo Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Gagriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 黄荣文 hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Gagriel in the 30th minute of play forced Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Federico Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Dantae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Federico Lertxun made a huge save. Rafael Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Paolo Medina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Elixio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Federico Lertxun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Goi. Federico Lertxun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Gagriel went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Federico Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Cebollitas's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Alfaro came free, but Cirilo Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Paolo Medina made a precise shot to the right of Cirilo Elixio. Cebollitas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.

The wind increased when Conrado Gagriel made the kick off in the second half. Federico Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Dantae in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Gonzalo Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Amado Dantae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Lertxun was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Club Atlético River Plate's Federico Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Muno in the 65th minute of play. Federico Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Goi in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Paolo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cebollitas's Cirilo Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Medina in the 70th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Gagriel came free, but Federico Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Cordera in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético River Plate getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Benjamin Paul hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, Cebollitas's Conrado Gagriel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Lertxun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 90 minutes into the match, Mariano Muno notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Club Atlético River Plate's Federico Lertxun. Federico Lertxun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Conrado Gagriel made a precise shot to the right of Federico Lertxun. Club Atlético River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. When the referee ended the match the Cebollitas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
