Robustiano Ticho's late challenge caught a Rosario AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Ticho helped the player get up and apologised. Marcial Galtero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Artemio Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Goiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavino Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Goiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Rosario AFC were awarded a corner. Artemio Goiz went to the cornerflag to take it. Rosario AFC's Artemio Goiz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gavino Satordi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edgard Walme sped through Indios Chapaleufu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gavino Satordi. 18 minutes into the game, Rosario AFC's Serafin Mirande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gavino Satordi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Walme's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Serafin Mirande might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafin Mirande ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgard Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gavino Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Edgard Walme might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Walme ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Walme in the 31st minute of play forced Indios Chapaleufu's goalkeeper Gavino Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario AFC's Edgard Walme got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Edgard Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Indios Chapaleufu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Satordi should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efrain Ofelio was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Gavino Satordi managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Rosario AFC's Edgard Walme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 55 minutes into the match, Serafin Mirande notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Indios Chapaleufu's Gavino Satordi. Gavino Satordi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Rosario AFC booed when Indios Chapaleufu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcial Galtero fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Indios Chapaleufu's protests and gave Marcial Galtero a yellow card for diving instead. Artemio Goiz shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Leopoldo Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gavino Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosario AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
