Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Freddy Tello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Verdolá booed when Moldes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Celino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Verdolá getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Natalio Raymond hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Melquiades Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Malec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Moldes's zone, Freddy Tello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Cerilo came out of the goal and Freddy Tello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Verdolá's Raul Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, one of Moldes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Moldes. Verdolá's Orlando Galoer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Artemio Quirce in the 23 minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Moldes's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Urtzi came free, but Timoteo Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Freddy Tello sped through Moldes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Timoteo Cerilo. In the 33rd minute, Luis Urtzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Cerilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 37 played minutes Verdolá got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Galoer. In the 45thth minute of the game Freddy Tello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moldes's Timoteo Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Verdolá were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 60 played minutes Verdolá got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Galoer. In the 63rd minute, Augusto Lalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Cerilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Tello in the 65th minute of the match. When Freddy Tello came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Verdolá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Tello couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Baldomero Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdolá's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Itzaina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Cerilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd match minute, Moldes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Celino to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Baldomero Itzaina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Verdolá made a substitution. Lorenzo Aztore replaced Jairo Kelemen. Pastor Norino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Quintin in the 86th minute of play forced Verdolá's goalkeeper Martin Malec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Lucio Quintin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Malec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
