Martin Malec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Ibañez went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute of the match Durazno F.C. got a corner. Verdolá's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feliberto Orlanda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Godofredo Filipo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Malec. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. The supporters of Verdolá booed when Durazno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonny Landman didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Verdolá getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Orlando Galoer hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Filipo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Durazno F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Filipo to maneuver through the defense. Verdolá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Herminio Ibañez scored to the left of an out of position Martin Malec, making the score, 3-0.

After 53 minutes, Arturo Etxahun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durazno F.C. and the Verdolá players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dionisio Hegoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Orlanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Freddy Tello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Cambranes was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Herminio Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Cambranes came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Verdolá's Orlando Galoer. But to his dismay, Orlando Galoer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. There was no doubt that Durazno F.C. were the better team. Durazno F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
