Augusto Damario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Iraunkor in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Jonatan Dornov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alastuey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Dornov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Alastuey's Elpidio Gil threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fidel Osorio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
