After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Santiago Guilabertus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortines's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Guilabertus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Tab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eliseo Mergildo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cortines's protests and gave Eliseo Mergildo a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Francisco Llope rounded Cortines's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Cortines booed when Estutu Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Lapurdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Agger hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Estutu Futbol Club's Alfredo Macario got a free kick in the 67th minute. Cortines's Timoteo Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Llope in the 69th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cortines's Leo Joachim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafino Tab. That made the score 2-1 after 72 minutes of play. Leo Joachims short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Serafino Tab to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Llope in the 77th minute of play forced Cortines's goalkeeper Timoteo Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Cortines's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Agger came free, but Timoteo Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Froilan Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Leoiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Leo Joachim lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Serafino Tab. Estutu Futbol Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
