Ombucto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Hechter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Camilo Cristofol took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Armando Donostia to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute, Danilo Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorel Abutnăriței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Seguinus having to interfere. When Rodrigo Jayvier came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ombucto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Jayvier couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 22 in the game by Claudio Ezkerra from a close distance when the talented Armando Donostia managed to make a qualified save. Ombucto's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Jayvier during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Cristofol got free with Armando Donostia in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Jayvier in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Ombucto's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Bonifaco came free, but Armando Donostia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorel Abutnăriței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Serafin Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Rodrigo Jayvier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Donostia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Ezkerra in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Armando Donostia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Hechter in the 52nd minute of play. Camilo Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorel Abutnăriței recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafin Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Abutnăriței in the 59th minute of play. Armando Donostia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Ezkerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Los Leones F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Seguinus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Oinaz. Serafin Seguinus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Jayvier in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes of play Ombucto's Rodrigo Jayvier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 77th match minute, Ombucto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Jayvier to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Los Leones F.C.'s Camilo Cristofol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Donostia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Frode Tengesdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Seguinus having to interfere. Dorel Abutnăriței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Donostia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Cristofol in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Leones F.C. had won after a very even match.
